I’m all for making things beautiful. Obviously. But looking good isn’t the whole job.
I’ve been designing for longer than I care to admit.
I notice things. The type that’s not quite working. The colour that’s shouting when it should be whispering. The tiny detail that’s throwing everything off. And once I’ve noticed it, I’m probably going to have to fix it.
Before I decide what something should look like, I want to understand what it needs to do. So I’ll ask questions. Quite a few, probably. I’ll want to know what you’re trying to achieve, who we’re talking to and why any of it matters in the first place.
Then I bring a little design sensibility – the judgement, experience and creative thinking to help get you where you need to go.
